***** Postponements ***** -- The Trainer Development Conference, scheduled for this Saturday (August 16th) and the Commissioner College, scheduled for next Saturday (August 23rd) have been postponed indefinitely. More information about possible rescheduling will be available in the coming days. ****SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**** 2008 Council Camporee -- Start making your plans to attend the Council Camporee this fall. Preliminary information about the event can be found by clicking here. Council Camporee Registration Form/Roster -- The registration form and participant roster for the Council Camporee can be downloaded by clicking here. *** NEW *** July - August 2008 Scouter Now Online -- The current edition of the Scouter is now available. You must have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat to view the newsletter. You can view the Scouter by clicking here. **Special Notice** -- The National Council is now using a new adult application that includes a disclosure form concerning criminal background checks. This disclosure form is required to be on file in order to process applications. Please make every effort to not use the older adult applications in the next few weeks to avoid having to fill out a separate disclosure form.
