| click here to download form New Leader Training The White River District will conduct a full day of training on September 18th at Southside School, in Batesville AR. The cost of the training is only $5.00. This includes snacks and course materials. Sessions included on this date will be: Training will began at 9:00am. This is Scouting! - For all volunteers, it provides the basics of the on-line Scouting programs, the age appropriateness of these programs, and our values and methods. Cub/Boy Scout Leader Specific Training - Presents in-depth information for a new leader in a specific position such as Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Member, Scoutmaster, etc. Youth Protection Training - Informs and instructs adults volunteers and parents about the BSA youth protection policies and procedures. Strongly encouraged for all adults and is required for at least one adult on every outing. Charter Organization Representative Training - For all Chartered Organization Representatives and other interested leaders. It highlights the BSA chartered partner concept, the policies and procedures of the BSA, and the Chartered Organization Representative’s Role. Den Chief Training Den Chief Training - This course is for Boy Scout and Varsity youth members interested in working with a Cub Scout/Webelos Den in a mentoring type role. It trains the participants on how to assist with younger youth members and satisfies advancement requirements. The cost of the training is only $5.00 | |
