Full Speed Ahead at Camp Rockefeller!!!

The Scouts are ready to get back to camp!!!

After being unable to hold a live summer camp in 2020, Camp Rockefeller is very excited to have about 1150 scouts and leaders signed up over the course of three weeks. With a reduced capacity of 400/week due to Covid precautions, camp is nearly at capacity, though a few spots still remain.

This year’s camp will feature all of the scouts favorite activities including shooting sports, swimming, boating, climbing and rappelling, along with lots and lots of merit badges. Garry Hahne is serving as this year’s Camp Director with Dan Tullos as Camp Commissioner. Jackson Jenkins will be the Program Director.

Once again this year an added attraction will include a camp mystery to be solved by the scouts with help from that well-known detective Tenderfoot Holmes. Last year during the virtual summer camp, Mr. Holmes and the scouts were able to solve the case of Baden Powell’s Treasure. This year rumors abound that pirate treasure may be buried somewhere at camp!
