Notice: Show-N-Sell Take Back Day moved to Oct 27th.
Unit Popcorn Kernels:
After consultation with a number of Show-N-Sell units and our Council Popcorn Kernel Robert Coletti, as well as select District Popcorn Kernels, we have decided to change the date of the Show-N-Sell product return “Take Back Day” from this Saturday to the following Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ben E. Keith, 1 Ben E. Keith Way in North Little Rock.
The purpose of this change is three-fold:
- Because it has rained on all but one weekend since the beginning of the popcorn sale, several units have reported having to call off Show-N-Sell efforts at some locations. The forecast for this weekend (at least as of today) is ideal for Show-N-Sell opportunities.
- The deadline for Take Orders to be submitted is next Wednesday, October 24th. This change of the Show-N-Sell product return date will allow units with any leftover Show-N-Sell product after this weekend’s sales to know exactly how much can be used to fill Take Order sales, reducing the amount needed to be ordered and picked up at the November district popcorn distributions.
- Units can begin delivering Take Orders from the leftover Show-N-Sell stock, while keeping the maximum 33% commissions on all Show-N-Sell orders.
As mentioned, remember to place all orders from Take Order Sales into the Trail’s End system by next Wednesday October 24th. You can place your prize orders from the Trail’s End site at a later date.
Also note that this year you will see on the Trail’s End site a column to allocate Show-N-Sell orders to individual scouts.
